How the Deposit Refund Works

ExeNova's core mechanic is a refundable accountability deposit. Here is exactly how it works:

  • 45% of your pod membership fee is held as an accountability deposit for 90 days
  • If you stay active (post at least once every 20 days), your full deposit is returned to your original payment method after 90 days
  • Refunds are processed automatically within 5–10 business days of pod completion
  • The remaining 55% (45% creator fee + 10% platform fee) is non-refundable

Inactivity Penalties

If you are inactive for 20+ days:

  • Day 20: Warning email sent
  • Day 25+: 10% of your remaining deposit (minimum $5) is deducted per penalty cycle
  • Penalties are non-refundable
  • 80% of each penalty is redistributed to active members; 20% goes to the platform

Early Departure

If you leave a pod before the 90-day period ends, your deposit is forfeited. We do not offer partial refunds for early withdrawals. This is a core part of the accountability mechanic that you agreed to on joining.

Freeze Days

You have up to 5 freeze days per pod. While frozen, inactivity penalties are paused. Freeze days can be activated from your pod dashboard. Freeze days do not extend the 90-day pod duration.

Creator Fee Refunds

The 45% creator fee is non-refundable once paid. Exceptions may be made at our discretion if a creator fails to deliver a pod as described (e.g., deletes the pod within the first 7 days). Contact us at manabesh@gmail.com to dispute a charge.

Pay-Per-View Insights

Payments for locked insights are non-refundable once the content has been unlocked and accessed.

Technical Issues

If you experience a technical issue that prevents you from accessing your pod and we are unable to resolve it within 48 hours, you may be eligible for a full refund at our discretion. Contact manabesh@gmail.com with details.
